Partners For Change Expands Regional Footprint With KYOSA Partnership
Partners For Change, formerly known as Covington Partners, is proud to announce its selection as the new fiscal sponsor for the Kentucky Out of School Alliance (KYOSA), a statewide network dedicated to ensuring all children and youth have access to high-quality out of school time (OST) programs.
This strategic partnership unites two organizations with a deep commitment to improving student outcomes through expanded learning opportunities beyond the traditional school day. KYOSA’s mission is to support the growth, development, and accessibility of quality OST programs that promote the success of children and youth across Kentucky. For more than 25 years, Partners For Change has been dedicated to eliminating barriers to learning and success for students and families.
As part of its continued evolution, Partners For Change also recently expanded its direct service reach. Previously focused solely on the Covington Independent School District, the organization now partners with the Erlanger-Elsmere, Newport, and Ludlow Independent School Districts, further broadening its impact throughout Northern Kentucky.
“At Partners For Change, we believe that every child deserves a safe, engaging space to learn, grow, and thrive—both during and after school hours,” said Stacie Strotman, President and CEO of Partners For Change. “Our partnership with KYOSA represents a powerful alignment of missions and a shared commitment to strengthening the out-of-school time landscape across the Commonwealth of Kentucky.”
Through its partnership with KYOSA, Partners For Change will continue to advance its mission and support KYOSA’s efforts through a multi-faceted approach that includes:
Forging statewide, regional, and local collaborations to ensure OST programs are high-quality and sustainable;
Advancing statewide policy to secure vital resources for new and existing programs;
Building the capacity of the OST workforce to lead and deliver impactful services;
Serving as a centralized hub for data and resources that support systems change, expand partnerships, and improve program outcomes.
While KYOSA focuses on systemic and statewide change, Partners For Change complements this work by directly supporting school districts in implementing quality, data-driven programming. These programs are intentionally designed to align with the school day and foster engaging environments that support both academic success and personal growth. In addition to out of school time programs, Partners For Change also implements mentoring and family engagement programs aimed at building strong school, family and community partnerships that are central to supporting students, families and school growth.
Together, this collaboration marks a significant step forward in ensuring that more Kentucky students—especially those in underserved communities—have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive in school and beyond.
