Resource! Earn a "Be There" Mental Health Certificate

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we’re encouraging mentors, educators, volunteers, and youth-serving professionals to earn their free “Be There” Certification — a self-paced virtual training designed to increase mental health literacy and provide the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to safely support someone who may be struggling with their mental health.

The course includes six interactive lessons with videos and real-life scenarios and takes less than two hours to complete. Participants will learn Be There’s 5 Golden Rules — a simple, actionable framework that helps individuals recognize when someone may be struggling, understand their role in offering support, and connect others to the help they deserve.

The training is free and available in English, Spanish, and French. Learn more and get certified through the Be There Certificate Program.
