Helping Students Stay in School, One Pink Tote at a Time

In October, Partners For Change marked October Period Action Day (PAD) on Saturday, October 11 — a global day dedicated to raising awareness about period poverty.

Nearly 1 in 4 students in the U.S. struggle to afford period products. Without access to these essentials, students may miss school, lose confidence, and face unnecessary barriers to success.

That’s why we launched the Pink Link Project — to ensure no student has to choose between their education and basic health needs.

This October, we asked our community to rally behind the mission, helping students stay in school, feel supported, and focus on their future — and you answered!

Several organizations and community partners stepped up to make a lasting impact by donating time, money, and resources, including: Republic Bank, DBL Law, Wiseway Supply, Park National Bank, Horan, HUB, and Notre Dame Academy.

Thanks to your generosity, we collected in October:

  • $2,577.75 in financial donations

  • 288 pairs of underwear

  • 6,596 tampons

  • 11,980 pads

  • 1,074 feminine hygiene wipes

  • 48 deodorants

Because of your support, students across our partner districts now have the supplies they need to stay healthy, confident, and in the classroom.
